Today we introduce you to our member company FUMBARRI.
Founded in Durango (Bizkaia, in the north of Spain) in 1956, FUMBARRI manufactures grey and nodular iron by hand and lost pattern moulding systems.
The early years FUMBARRI based its activity in small-medium serial parts to several sectors. Later on, they specialized in bigger parts and it is in the 90s when they finally gain their well know position in automotive, mining and cement industry, printing, valves and machine tool all around Europe.
In their facilities of more than 20,000 sqm they have 2 oxigas furnaces of 28 Tn, 1 oxigas furnace of 14 Tn and casting ladles up to 30 Tn. For the manual moulding they have 9 mixers with a capacity from 10 to 40 Tn/h, a sand recovery system of 15 Tn/h and mounding boxes up to 13m.
They have a capacity from 120 Tons per day and 30,000 Tons per year in parts up to 50 tons.
Therefore, FUMBARRI has the most advanced casting methods, the newest analyzing devices and the most accurate simulation of fill and cool down software, with allows the possibility of infinite iterations before the final definition of the part.
FUMBARRI is specialized in sectors such as Machine Tools, Die-making and Industry in general, manufacturing parts such as stamping dies, machine parts, etc.
