First, a little history: founded in 1940, located in Legazpia (Gipuzkoa), this family business was initially dedicated to the casting of railway and agricultural machinery parts. The current company was established in 1967, after some years of expansion.<\/p>\n

In the following decades, Fundiciones Bereciartu extended its activity to shipbuilding, lifting, machinery and mostly Railway Sector, which is where they make the most of their business and for which they are known nowadays.<\/p>\n

In January 2023 there was a change in the management of the company through which they have great expectations for expansion, mostly internationally.<\/p>\n

In their 4.000 sqm facilities, they count with an induction furnace that can melt up to 2TN of steel, and are specialized in steel parts weighing from 1kg to 1TN. They export 7% of their production to France, Switzerland and are willing to increase this trend in those and other European countries.<\/p>\n
