Today we introduce you to our member company Fundiciones Aizpurua, S.A. (FAMETAL).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Established in 1958 and located in Gipuzkoa (North of Spain), FAMETAL manufactures bronze and high resistance brass, up to 2.4 tons<\/strong> in weight using centrifugal casting and permanent mould.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In their 3.500 sqm of modern facilities, they have four induction furnaces of 1.500Kg and an induction furnace of 500Kg. They offer rough machining and customized finishes up to 300mm diameter by their own means.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

FAMETAL manufactures 2,000 t\/year of Sn bronze, 2,000 t\/year of Al bronze, 1,000 t\/year of Lead bronze and 100 t\/year of high resistance brass<\/strong> for many customer sector such as: Defence industry, heavy vehicle, railway, construction, electric, hydroelectric and solar power among others.<\/p>\n

Their typical parts are industrial gearbox crowns, lift gearbox crowns, sleeves, bushings, bearings and spindle nuts.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They have a final control and dispatch section in which customised packaging is prepared for the pieces in order to avoid knocks or damage during transportation.<\/p>\n
